RSVP to the Keep A Breast Foundation bust show this Saturday (SEPT 29, 2012) at LAB ART,
217 S. La Brea Avenue Ave, Los Angeles 90036

We heart boobs too.

You’ve seen the I love boobies bracelets, right? They come from the Keep A Breast Foundation as a fun way to bring awareness to a serious issue. Keep A Breast spreads awareness about breast cancer — around 13% of the U.S. population will develop some type of breast cancer, so it’s not something we can ignore, right?

Keep A Breast also does outreach through ongoing art events which feature plaster casts of ladies’ torsos customized, modified and art-ified by professional artists. The latest event is in partnership with LAB ART and American Rag. The reception (you have to RSVP) is this Saturday, September 29, at LAB ART (if you read Fling Girl, you know we love LAB ART) and the works will be displayed at American Rag’s L.A. and Newport Beach locations.

Some of the well-known “figures” you may recognize come from Carey Mulligan, P!NK, and Katy Perry, as well as casts of American Rag’s staff. LAB ART has curated the participating artists from their impressive gallery roster — visit LAB ART online or in person to get a taste of what and who they hang.
